Domaille Engineering, LLC Secures Patent on Fiber Optic Polisher
ROCHESTER, MN, May 27, 2003 - Domaille Engineering, LLC was granted a patent on May 6, 2003 for the design of their industry leading fiber optic polisher. The patent was issued for the recently released APM Model HDC-5000 fiber optic polisher.
"This patent further illustrates our ability to introduce new technologies and innovative products to meet the demand of our global markets," said the Director of the Optical Products Division, "This patent will continue to help us grow our strong customer base and distribution channels to serve the world-wide markets."
About the APM Model HDC-5000:
The APM Model HDC-5000 is the top-of-the-line polisher which allows you to program your polishing processes through an easy-to-use PC-based Windows-like full-color touch screen panel. Once programmed, the panel displays your settings for speed, time, and pressure, and also prompts the operator for the film, pad and lubricant needed for each step of the process. The number of processes that can be defined and stored within the HDC-5000 is only limited by the amount of machine memory. This means hundreds of processes and steps within each process can be stored on a single machine. The CompactFlash card technology also allows for safe storage of processes as well as easy replication of processes across multiple polishers.
